Our history and lineage
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that develops confidence, discipline, respect, and fitness through kicking, sparring, self-defense, and forms training. Students of all ages gain valuable life skills while progressing through a rewarding belt ranking system. It also fosters focus and perseverance, helping students build strong character both on and off the mat.
WHo is it for?
Since our school's founding, Taekwondo has been one of the core disciplines of our curriculum. Grandmaster Il Nam Yang began his martial arts journey through Taekwondo, training under Grandmaster Hung Taek Hur of the prestigious Chang Moo Kwan lineage. Through years of dedicated study and instruction, he developed the knowledge, discipline, and leadership that would later help shape the foundation of our school. Today, we continue to honor those traditions by providing students with authentic Taekwondo training rooted in the values and standards passed down through this respected lineage.
Lineage: Grandmaster Il Nam Yang, Grandmaster Hung Taek Hur
